Alyssa E. Pockell
Alyssa Pockell, Partner at Forman, Pockell & Associates, P.A., assists clients in estate planning, asset protection planning, Medicaid planning and probate law. Alyssa received her Juris Doctorate degree from Suffolk University Law School and is a member of both the New Hampshire and Massachusetts bar associations. Before attending law school, Alyssa served in the public sector as a Legislative Aid for the New Hampshire State Senate. She also served as a Legislative Assistant to the House Finance Committee in the New Hampshire House of Representatives and as Legislative Coordinator for the New Hampshire Department of Health in Human Services.
She brings to the firm extensive knowledge and experience in the fields of Medicaid, elderly and adult services, special needs trust planning and the legislative process. In addition to her public service, Alyssa served as the Finance Director on a United States Congressional campaign. |
As a cancer survivor, Alyssa understands the importance of providing clients and their families with peace of mind when both explaining and crafting comprehensive estate and asset protection planning documents. Alyssa frequently travels to nursing homes, clients personal residences and hospitals to assist clients at critical stages in their lives. She also maintains availability in her schedule to help clients in emergency situations.
Alyssa has served as a faculty member, teaching continuing education courses for lawyers, tax professionals and financial advisors and been a frequent speaker at seminars for financial advisors and she has also been a guest speaker on radio shows. Alyssa has authored and co-authored numerous articles and co-authored books used as reference material for the legal community.
